thanks, the guys worked hard, Jay Sibal and Jason Figueras and ryan resella, juan , thomas, angie, thao and roy, will, jojo callos, arias pistons, mark 81mm SPFWD Integra, Exedy Clutch and many others. We were number one qualifier with a 9.8@140mph for 3 rounds and the motor blew on a test run during the 1st qualifiying pass on a freak accident, we came up on sunday with Mark frm J's racing's motor and destoyed a tranny on the 4th qualifying pass. Racing till we die, thanks arn and all the guys that made it happen and made it worth the will to go have fun at Palmdale. we will be back.
This was probably the roughest weekend that I've had as a racer. Mybrand new BG fuel pump was grounding out internally. We chased the problem for a couple of hours thinking it was a wiring problem then realized it was the pump itself. Luckily I have some of the best friends out there. Arn Reyes (advertise) left the track drove almost an hour to his house to take the pump off of Mandy, and drove back through crazy traffic and a shut down freeway to bring me his pump for the third round of qualifying. We lined the car up went through the burnout, and when I launched the car it died on the line. We pushed it back to the pit and troubleshot it til 8:00pm. We concluded theat the ignition box had went out. No power to the coil. The next person to bail my *** out was Jason Whitfield of Rage Performance in Montclair. My brother drove to his house at 9:00 pm and picked up a new 7al2. Up @ 7:00am to try to get the car running I switched boxes and still no fire. We went through all the wiring in the car trying to find something that might have shaken loose on the launch. Finally I opened up the dist. to find the pickup in 3 pieces. I was able to buy a dist. from Kevin Bonds and get the running for 1 qualifying pass. Barely made the field, #8, and was easily eliminated by Brian Bridges first round.
This weekend was pretty much a disaster, but it gave me a chance to see what kind of friends I have. My brother Aaron, and my dad, George Ahad, and Mo Allison of Car Aid for wrenching with me all weekend. Arn Reyes for going way out of his way to get me his fuel pump. Jason Whitfield for hooking me up with a msd box. Earl Laskey for the help and support in the pits. Eugene and Aaron of Pro Street import, Lucky Mike, Irran Jolly, Dane from L-con, Jerry Guzman for helping me try to find a dist. Kevin Bonds for selling it to me. Thank you guys for all of your help.
For me it was a moral victory just to get the car down the track this weekend, especially after hearing cheers and laughter from the stands after breaking on the line. Thank you guys for the motivation.

i owe Kevin Bonds also, he offered a transmission and clutch at the last moments of chance i had. i had a stinkin bye run in the first round and i couldn't get the teg rolling. damn 12 point 17mm nut! Tony people like Kevin make racing fun, helping others out. i've been telling people, watch out, this guy is fast.u guys had a hard weekend, sfter all my problems i was worried that problems would cost u a motor. its not a cool feeling, keep it up, West coast racing is still alive.

I was also sorry to see a lot of cool people have so many problems . Thanks for stopping by in the lanes, Tony, and good luck at the next event
My car had a couple of problems, but nothing compared to the hard luck some of you guys had. Could not get the 24.5's to hook up to save my life, and had a huge misfire that turned out to be as simple as spark plug replacement. Big thanks to Tom (Camp1320) for those plugs, you saved my weekend
See everyone at the next race
