B18B swap in EK, please HELP!!!
Ok, so we got a B18B OBD1 in my 97 civic but a couple things don't add up. The accelerator cable (not sure the real name, sorry) that hooks to the throttle body was cut before shipment and the D- series appears to be too short. Any suggestions as to which cable to use or how to make this work?
Also, my brother said that everything from the OBD2 plugs hooked up fine to the OBD1 engine so my question is will I still need to do the IAVC splice with the ECU and plug? I'm sure that codes will fly at start up because the engine appears to have an OBD2 throttle body, OBD1 short and long block, and distributor, and a B16 tranny. Does anyone know specifically what problems we might run into at start up or what else needs to be changed? Oh and the oil pressure sensor hooked right up to the plug so I'm guessing we won't need to relocate it? Someone on here told me I may need to.
Just to fill in I have bought the brackets, axles and an SI shift linkage. I appreciate the help guys. We're struggling here.

The Throttle Cable from the LS integra is what I used and it's working just fine. So unfortunately, you'll have to buy another.

If you look on Katman's link (This has been my bible over the past few days) http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/. He doesn't have anything for an OBD1 IACV so I'm almost positive you don't.

As for the rest... If you're using a OBD2 ECU (which you never mentioned). I'd imagine you'll indeed be throwing codes all over the place.. The ECU is going to be looking for a lot of stuff that is not going to be coming back to it, especially on the dizzy, and emissions side of things. If it is OBD2 ECU, make sure you have secondary O2 sensor hooked up or spoof'd. And I didn't know you can use SI shift linkage for that swap... Hmmm... BTW, I'm still finishing up my swap if you wanna give me some mutual help. LOL, same swap (but all OBD2). It's on this same forum.

Thats what I thought. So would any integra cable work or should I just stick to an LS cable? Only question is whether or not the trottle body is actually from an LS since its OBD2 and the engine is OBD1.
Yeah I'm using my factory OBD2 ECU from the DX since its non vtec as well. I have the pinouts (?) from what goes to what in the ECU and what should be rearranged, removed and what not. As far as the O2 sensor that will be loose, I recon were gonna weld it in to the header somewhere. I have a D series header but I've been getting mixed answers (from people who I think really have no idea) about whether or not it will work on the B series so I think were gonna just use the factory header and go from there.
As far as the Si tranny (99-00), the guy that works with my dad at Honda, whose done a few swaps, and a few people on here said it woud work. Right now we are having a grand time trying to get that old linkage off. Thinking about getting the tool from dad's work if they have one.
I was suppose to be getting the OBD2 swap but got the OBD1 so I'm just working with what I got b/c the guy I got it from just is a shitty person to contact and I figure its not even worth the hassle to try and chase him down since the engine appears to be clean and all. I appreciate the help and I'll try my best to do like wise. Thanks again.
Just in case, anyone else have any info to add???
