Default B18B into EK..need quick HELP!!!

Ok, so we got a B18B OBD1 in my 97 civic but a couple things don't add up. The accelerator cable (not sure the real name, sorry) that hooks to the throttle body was cut before shipment and the D- series appears to be too short. Any suggestions as to which cable to use or how to make this work?
Also, my brother said that everything from the OBD2 plugs hooked up fine to the OBD1 engine so my question is will I still need to do the IAVC splice with the ECU and plug? I'm sure that codes will fly at start up because the engine appears to have an OBD2 throttle body, OBD1 short and long block, and distributor, and a B16 tranny. Does anyone know specifically what problems we might run into at start up or what else needs to be changed? Oh and the oil pressure sensor hooked right up to the plug so I'm guessing we won't need to relocate it? Someone on here told me I may need to.

Just to fill in I have bought the brackets, axles and an SI shift linkage. I appreciate the help guys. We're struggling here.

I reposted this here b/c I wasn't getting anything from Civic forum. Thanks

Yeah, I'm using the civic harness. I think my brother is using only one plug from the LS harness because he torn one up when switching the engines. Also using the DX ECU (OBD2). We are awaiting an integra throttle cable and the intake manifold gasket to finish setup, so we haven't started it up yet to see what codes will be thrown.

Also, getting tool from Honda dealer (dad works there) to get that damn shift linkage pin out so we change that over as well.

Still don't know if anything needs to be done to the IAVC or if I will need to relocate oil pressure sensor since those plugs right up???

As far as I know he has everything hooked up except the secondary O2 sensor which were gonna weld into the downpipe. Oh there are a couple plugs on the intake that bolt to the back of the throttle body that he hasn't hooked up yet because we are waiting for the gasket and all so we haven't really plug it all up. The throttle body appears to be OBD2 though because it has the black injector plugs but I don't know how much of a difference that will make at start-up.
