Default '99 GSR motor WITHOUT engine wire harness....searched

Ok i've been searching but i think i've been asking the wrong words to search for.

Well theres a guy selling an all motor '99 GSR motor but it doesnt come with the wire harness for the engine.

My question is could I use the einge wire harness from my '92 VX as a substitue harness or do i have to go to a junkyard and buy a GSR wire harness????

Thanks

You didn't search very hard then. It is a sticky on the top of this forum.

Sorry bout that.

I'd look this over as it is an ODBII install from a 6th gen civic. Check out their installation and see if your plugs are similar. I would suspect that you may need to add/extend some wire. Compare that to the previous VX thread.

well heres the thing, the motor im looking at like i said has no wiring harness on the engine and i dont think it has the sensors that would goto the plugs on the harness if it were there....would i be able to use the sensors from my D16z6 along with the harness or would i have to make a stop by the junkyard??

Get an OBD2 GSR engine harness. Then you will only have to repin 2 wires in the VX main harness.
