hey guys i was thinking about getting a small turbo in my car maybe boost like 5 psi's and i was wondering......

say i am in mid corner and slighty on gas, then all of a sudden i hit boost will my car start to understeer because of the sudden increase in power to the wheels?

That is a very general question, and cannot be answered. It depends on too many variables, like if the turn is off camber or not, uphill, downhill, and also how your cars suspension is set up.

As well as whether or not you're running a limited slip diff.
Still, 5 psi seems quite controllable ... as long as you're slightly on the gas.
I'm sure you'll be able to adapt.

a small turbo is going to spool up pretty much instantly when you are applying the throttle. gradual application of throttle will result in gradual increase in boost level.

its NOT going to be like some 2JZ with a basketball sized turbo that gets WOT in the middle of the corner with no response, then 5 seconds later spikes 700whp instantly.

exactly.i run 10psi on my car,and it's all dependent on how much throttle you give it.the amount of power doesn't vary at the same throttle position.

A small turbo is as easy to control with your right foot as a NA car.

Yeah, so get a good seat and maybe a harness so you don't need to brace yourself as much, and throttle modulation should be much easier.
