Drivers door lock will not lock when open....
Basically if my drivers side door is open I can't push the door lock to the lock position, the passenger side I can but not drivers, I think this might have to do with the keyless that my car was equipped with (98 civic EX 2dr) but I never used it as it never came with a remote when I bought the car and I took out the head unit knowing the keyless would not longer work....Is this some safety feature so people don't lock their keys in the car or what? anyone else have this? thanks

Good way to put it. It's there to keep you from locking yourself out of the car.

but to stay on topic, it surprises me that a lot of people don't know this. good feature though
