Default turns over but no spark

The engine will turn over but there is no spark from any of the plugs. i started it a couple of days ago and it sounded like it was running on one cylinder, it ran for a few seconds and died. now it just turns over.

the ignitor in te distributor might ave gone bad..or it could simply be a fuse in the fusebox in the engine bay..trust me i've been there..pulled up distributor n the whole works..

Easiest way is to swap it out with known good unit. I think I would lean more towards the coil however.

the coil is fine, i ran through all the checks and what not, it checks out, where can you get an ignitor? do autoparts stores sell them, or its it a dealer item, and is the one out of my d15 distributor the same? cuz i know that one worked

You COULD get it at the dealer, just don't expect it to be cheap. Kragen has them, but same story.
