when the iacv valve is plugged into the harness it makes a faint humming sound and sometimes will get louder... When I unplug the clip from the IACV it stops... ANY IDEAS?! its not something i can just ignore...

it does it when I just turn the key to "ON" and not starting the motor, might do it when the car is running too not sure tho bc ive only ran it for about 3 minutes so far...

i just put a GSR motor in my EJ8 and i have the same thing happening with only difference is i have a Skunk2 manifold.

 

Mine is humming too. I took my IACV off to see if it was moving while I discoonect and reconnected the plug and it was not. Normally when a solenoid humms like that, something is stopping it from working or it is bad.

 

bump same thing is happening here any clue to why this is happing
