Default CF hood?

I'm having trouble deciding whether or not I should get a CF hood. I recently have seriously thought about getting one. They look pretty cool plus the weight savings is a nice benefit. Plus I can get a pretty good deal on one with a REALLY nice fit (which I hear is pretty rare), but my friend pointed out that it would only save about 20 pounds and i could spend the money on a new header or something. Of course I'm not too terribly concerned about go fast at the moment.. I guess it's pretty much my decision but just wondered what y'all thought? Is appearance and some weight savings worth the money vs a bit of speed?

I wouldnt get it if it is your first mod. But they look good on any car, and the weave looks so cool.

Well it would be semi performance (weight savings). Plus it's kind of a one time deal.. if I wait I'll have to pay more for a product that probably won't fit as well.
Decisions decisions..

Oh yeah I forgot to mention I may go turbo so I really wouldn't be buying any performance parts for a while (gotta save up).

It sounds like that you want to get the CF hood even with all the different suggestions. And if that's the case, go ahead and get it already!!!

i sold my hood, got tired of the look, you could get the hood but u'll probably get sick of it sooner than if you had gotten the header instead.
dont even get the header, save a little more $$$ and go turbo, then you'll never get sick of it
