Default not your typical shock setting question...

on the kyb agx shocks, let's say i have the setting at "8"...if i want to go to "2", do i have to turn it down or can i just turn it up and go to "1" and then "2"? will the shocks adjust itself properly?

hope all that makes sense.

You cant turn it 8 directly to 1
It needs to go backwards 8765432

why is that?

on one of my shock, i think i turned it 8 directly to 1 or 2. i don't know if i did or not. that's why i'm asking if it's ok to do so.

Is it that difficult to turn it the other way? I'm looking to buy a set of these soon.

not really that hard. but like i said, i think i turned it the other way by accident. that's why i'm asking if it's ok and will the shocks adjust accordingly.

well i have never had a prob turning it the wrong way but if you want to be safe just turn it all the way back around the "correct" way and it should be sweet

On most of the shocks Ive messed with (koni, tokico, some other ones I cant remember names of) the shock would not adjust past a certain point back to zero...just stops.
I mean the numbers arent digital, its all mechanical so I couldnt see how you could turn it from 8 to 1 and have it work correctly.

that's what i thought but then i was messing with it earlier and i can make it go pass 8 and into 1. i didn't leave it like that though.

ad the fing directions that ome with em, theres a warning turn the only clock wise, so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 , not *** backwards you can reck the valve or whatever and if you shocks blows because of it the dont warranty it, my friend did it to his,

so you CAN'T go counter clock-wise? so from 8, u gotta go to 1,2,3, etc?

so if i'm at 8, and want to go to 7, i gotta go all the way around?
