anyone running a msd sci or something similar?
Why the hell would you run an aftermarket ignition without a $30 aftermarket coil? The coil is the weaker part of the ignition than the actual ignition, stock honda ignitions with a good 50Kvolt coil can make 500+ whp. Yes, it will still be worth it, but get the damn coil. You'll also notice better mileage because of more efficient combustion, Jesse (goes by Pirate McFred) on here has my SCI on his car right now and said he's getting a couple more mpg......I had my plugs gapped at .28 on my turbo setup, and with a 6AL and a Blaster SS coil I had absolutely no ignition problems (blowing out spark, etc)

I second that, since the coil is so inexpensive anyways, I say go with it!

thinking about running it on a turbo set up of mine. what it be worth it w/o an upgraded coil?</TD></TR></TABLE>
If you want to run turbo set up with MSD, then MSD 6BTM is an ideal for engines with turbo or supercharger.

All the BTM does is pull timing based on boost, and if you have half a brain and are building a boosted car you've already got proper engine management that has tuned timing maps and doesn't need boost-dependent timing pull
