Msd sci + ss blaster coil good for my setup?
Ive searched on this before and gotten 2 results on decently high hp cars running ignition setups.
Ive seen posts of where people say the stock ignition can handle up to some crazy hp then ive seen posts where people were maxing out spark after 400+ whp.
Im shooting for 400+ whp so would a msd sci + the ss blaster coil be alright for me?

I run one and like the way it helped to smooth the idle out and allows me to run a wider spark gap than stock....burn that fuel baby
Its a tough call. I made 464 with stock honda distributor and a MSD blaster ss coil. I made 464 with the digital 6 ignition and the HVC coil. I very little gain with the digital 6 and HVC. I saw some gain in my wallet from going to the blaster ss coil.

I enjoyed my SCI+ Digital and Blaster SS coil. I disconnected it sinceI was having ignition troubles and just trouble shooting it. Now that I'm running stock ignition, the only difference I have noticed at my power level is that idle was much better and smoother low rpms with the MSD ignition. Not much of a difference at the top end. Just run some good plugs. I'm probably going to hook up the MSD ignition again in the near future.
this is probably a dumb question but, do i have to run a resistor box for injectors? if i have an msd box and ss blaster?
Umm...nope! That's only if you install low resistance fuel injectors. The Honda ECU needs to use 10-13 ohm injectors, so if you use injectors with like 4 ohm resistance, then you need a resistor box.
