Default Tranny Level Help!

Well today I decided to check my tranny level. I left it in the garage floor (which is perfectly flat) and took off the filler plug. It then took a massive dump all over the floor. Tranny fluid was just pouring out! I have never seen so much tranny fluid come out before. So I quickly checked my helms to see if I did it right. They suggest that you even jack it up making moore fluid drain towards the filler hole and pour out so I decided to not do that and check it out with you guys and get your opinions. Should I jack it up and romove the filler bolt and let more out. I have no clue what Honda was thinking when they did all the work on it before I bought it from them. So what should I do? Just stop and tighten it back up or jack it up and drain more?

Also ever since I bought the car it has always had this "clunk" or jerk when I let off the gas around 2-3000rpm to shift. Could this have been from the overfilled tranny?

it sounds like you actually took out the drain plug, I would just let the entire tranny drain and then fill it back up to spec

No trust me I know the difference. The drain plug you don't need a socket for. Also the filler hole is not at the bottom of the tranny, it's about half way up. Trust me I know which is which.

Bump. I just took it on a spin and it completely stopped doing that clunking and jerk in 1st and 2nd. I am so happy that it's gone. It was really pissing me off. Can a overfilled tranny really cause it to go all crazy like that? Also can somebody help me out with another problem. The car jerks/puleses when I let off the gas. It usually happens in 1st and 2nd around 2000rpm. Like it will happen in a parking lot and when going slow (school zones, etc.). I need some help so please leave some reply's.
