getting ready for a turbo, but first things first. i would like to build up the block with 9:5:1 compression. i do not know anything about turbo's so i would like to know everything i need and a guesstimate on how much it costs to rebuilt my block to handle 300+ ish hp.

 

Consider resleeving as an option if you really want to go crazy with boost. Pick up a Kenne Bell's book on turbocharging and read. It is pretty good. There was also an article a few months ago in SCC about turbo sizing and had some great formuas in there.

 

hmmmm.....lets see to build my motor was like around $2500 and after everthing was said and done(its still not done yet) I spend about 5500-6500$$$$ so make sure you got mad money before you start a project like this...
