Just don't rev super high and dump the clutch with super sticky tires because something will break.

it all depends.
depends on the quality(good remanned/OEM/shitty remanned) and age/wear of the axles.also depends on tire size/stickiness.also depends on driver.i've seen people break axles on almost stock engines.on the other hand,i use stock axles on slicks with about 300WHP and have no problems.you can find somebody than can tear up just about anything.
i'd say 200-250WHP is a very general limit.

a little more info-i launch my car at pretty high RPMS(5k-7k,depending on tire and track conditions).it's more the clutch release that kills the axles.i've seen people just totally dump the clutch at the rev limiter with a stock engine and break axles.i try to kind of "baby it" by letting the clutch out over a period of a few feet off the line,as opposed to just basically letting it out as quickly as i can.i'm not saying slip the clutch so much as to wear it out, just try to remove some of the initial shock to the drivetrain.
basically,just don't be a retard and you'll be fine

i had a buddy with a 94 cx 70 hp engine, with I/H/E, and like 17' heavy *** wheels (it was a few years ago, and rice rims were still popular ) anyways he had azenzi tires on and was doing burnouts like 10 times or so... then he did another one and i think he revved it to 5k then took off the clutch hella fast, and the axle just broke.... with a 70 hp non vtec engine... so i guess it really depends on luck and depends on how you launch it.
