Default slipping out of 5th fork or fluid?

i've already searched the 38 results and im still worried. im in NY right now, i will be going back to OH on monday. im gonna try to get the fluid checked in the next day or 2, but if it is full then would the clutch fork be the coprate? if so how do i fix that? and also if im nto able to top off the fluid, is it going to be safe to get back to ohio with it like that? help me out guys! im afraid for my tranny

you could do the fluid in a hotel parking lot it is that easy. I just did mine by pulling the speed sensor out and filling it from there.

I would find a parts store, pick up the new crush washer for the "fill" bolt, buy a few basic tools, jack the car up pull off the passanger tire and go for it.

On my old DA 3rd would pop out all the time, and it was internal parts. Had nothing to do with the fluid. It was new tranny time for me.

haha, actually ended up doing that too, either way it was b/c i was losing fluid b/c of a ripped seal, got it fixed now so all is well!
