Default Need some help on a d15b2...grinding noise coming from tranny

Ok, so I just put a d15b2 into my sisters 91 crx, everything went fine. Car was running good for about a week, then all of a sudden she calls me and says it won't go into gear and here's a grinding noise coming from the tranny. The grinding noise only happens when it is in neutral and goes away when you press on the clutch pedal. She all so said that when she put it in reverse it would go forward. WTF??? Ok, so I thought it might be the clutch itself or the throw out bearing. So, I dropped the tranny out, clutch looks good and so does the bearing. Noe I am really confused. If anyone can help please do. I'm about ready to just set her car on fire. Please HELP!!!!!

She could have killed the internals, just a thought. If you can, drain the fluid and see if you get any metal.

That's what I'm starting to think. Idon't know I think I might just put my extra tranny on it and see if that cures the problem.

Maybe, but it seemed to be fine after the swap.

Think so. But, to look at her car you might ask if she knows how to drive. She hasn't even had the car a year and she has already been in 3 wrecks. The front end is smashed.
