Default clunk/pop from front suspension (searched)

my search found so many different problems, and I have some ideas, but i want some input.

here's my suspension

KYB AGX
H&R race (integra rated)

here's my problem

whenever there's a weight shift (braking/cornering) there is a clunk/tap/pop from the front left suspension. from what i read i think it might be that i need more shock travel, so i was considering getting the GC upper mounts, but i know there are many people who don't have this problem with similar setups.

any suggestions. I don't want to buy somethign i don't need.

this is an awesome thread i found

unfortunately i don't have a welder and can't afford the down time for this DIY, since this is my daily driver. The GC extended upper mounts seem like they would solve the problem.

with that spring i doubt you're too low to be bottoming out, especially with a good shock.
check your ball joints, tie rod ends and wheel bearings for play.also, check the control arm bushings.
if all that checks out, possibly an axle, although it would probably be making noise other times too.

check to see if your upper control arm is hitting the shock tower. I you cut the bumpstops when installing h&r race springs, it will DUMP the car. Other than that, check to see if the coils on the springs are rubbing or hitting each other. Sounds odd, i kno but when i had h&r race springs, i had a clunk from my pass side rear. I swapped out the springs for some ground controls and the sound went away.
