a6 running rich
i just found my brother a 89si, were working out some of the bugs and she seems to be really strong. here's the deal, just like my buddies old 88si this one gets rich when u rev it up above 4grand. we changed the o2 sensor (which was bad) changed plugs, wires,..ect.
so what do u guys think.. egr on the intake need cleaned? map cloged?
the to do list----check timing/valve adjustment/comp test/ dist o ring/ axle seals
btw, i mainly deal w/ EW's (12 valves of fury) and reside at RPR

I think its just how "honda" made the power in the A6. When my car went on the dyno stock it did the same thing... ... I really think with the timing adjustments made to gain more power but add even more fuel (only getting around 25mpg with mixed driving). i just need a way to figure out how to prove the ecu is pushing the fuel...
thanks
@RACINTWEEK did a cold bleed, the night we came home. i'll check on the injectors
@MMsportsRexSi that's what i was thinking, seems like a6's like to run rich (w/ light or no mods)
i guess i should also make sure it's not a pg7
btw, u guys see that batch of tokico's go cheap last week on ebay? 340shipped for illuminas 8o...i had him get some cause i had never seen them so low, wish they had them same price for 1st gen 8*{
