That would be a JDM block, but it could also be an Sir-G block.

If you only have the short block, look at the stamp on the pistons.
I am running a B18C5 block now, with an ITR trans, B16 head with stock internals and ITR cams, intake manifold and throttle body. I dunno what kind of power its officially making, but its a helluva lot faster than my 2nd gen B16. But now from runnin ITR cams on a stock B16 head I got TONS of head noise and ticking from the LMA's... =\
Sooooo I went and got an ITR head last night lol. Already equipped with Manley valves, springs and retainers.

if the head and block are apart....look at the top of the piston. if its a jdm gsr block the piston will be stamped p72 00 and the jdm itr block should hae p73 00 stamped on the piston top. somebody correct me if i am wrong. but i'm pretty sure i am right...... hope this helps you bro......

I think GS-R/Si-VTEC/SiR-G is P72 and ITR is PR3.
