If you convert the motor to run OBD2 I would imagine it would work.

you can use p08 or p28 or any obd I ecu that has been chipped for that engine

if the car is obd II with JDM d15b then use p2p, or get a jumper harness and then you can use a obd I ecu.

a P08 will work perfectly fine, but it uses a different O2 than the P28 would.

yeah p08 will use a single wire, and p28 will require a 4 wire O2.

wrong the p08 does use 1 wire o2 but it doesnt throw any type of codes on a dx/ex obd1 eg. i have one in my car, i like it alot better than the p28 and a p30 is a b16 ecu

since your car is an eg (OBD1) just use the stock harness that is already in the car & run the VTEC wires. The Japanese one wouldn't work anyhow since it's for RHD

my car is obd1. the d15b is obd1 too, but the harness was cut. Can i use the harness from my friends car who also has an 0bd1 vtec hatch, only his is usdm and the motor that i bought is a j-spec? will his harness still work on my jspec engine?
