d15b ecu
you can use p08 or p28 or any obd I ecu that has been chipped for that engine
if the car is obd II with JDM d15b then use p2p, or get a jumper harness and then you can use a obd I ecu.

wrong the p08 does use 1 wire o2 but it doesnt throw any type of codes on a dx/ex obd1 eg. i have one in my car, i like it alot better than the p28 and a p30 is a b16 ecu

my motor came in today and the wiring was cut. my friends got another eg6 with a perfect wiring harness. only one main harness was cut. will it work fine? his car is a 93 its a d15b usdm its vtec but its not the jdm one. can i just butt connnect all of them. and will the shift linkage work off that too. and all the motor mounts?
my engine is the d15b jdm.

since your car is an eg (OBD1) just use the stock harness that is already in the car & run the VTEC wires. The Japanese one wouldn't work anyhow since it's for RHD

my car is obd1. the d15b is obd1 too, but the harness was cut. Can i use the harness from my friends car who also has an 0bd1 vtec hatch, only his is usdm and the motor that i bought is a j-spec? will his harness still work on my jspec engine?
