Default Getting spark, but doesnt start

Another update: we swapped out the obd1 injectors for the obd1 injectors from my GSR. still in the same status

Here's an update:

Compression test came out ok, cold - 190-125(?)-220-220
We're getting fuel to the RAIL, but not through the injectors, maybe? We have the injectors wired correctly, we tested the voltage and the injectors are fine as well.
we spilled some gas through the injector ports, which might have caused the weird comp readings.

distributor is fine, i pulled the running one out of my GSR...we know it's in right (they only go in a certain way anyways, correct? due to teething?)

we are out of ideas...wiring was done using JDMshit obd0->obd1 conversion piggy back harness and dist harness. this morning it wanted to fire then died right away. it cranks strong. ???? Any help is appreciated.

Just finished up the OBD1 conversion in the crx. b16. Motor cranks strong, we got spark, fuel, but it doesnt start. Any ideas?

I searched, and most threads are no-spark related. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I helped with this swap mentioned above. I just wanna add one more question. How can we check to make sure the injectors are actually firing fuel????

Yeah thats what i thought!! The tips of the injectors were wet and smelled like gas. So we have gas and a weak looking amber spark ( i think the spark should be a bright blue almost white). What could be the deal??

That weak spark could be an issue. Are all of the grounds attached? What condition are the sparkplugs and plug wires?

All grounds are good. And spark is now good, different dizzy. Just aren't 100% sure the injectors are actually opening, but there is fuel pressure to them. They are obd 1 injectors in a crx, so i had to solder on obd 1 injectors clips and remove the resistor box and solder those five wires together. But i still don't think the injectors are firing. All currents are good on the injectors and ecu (check with multimeter by helms guide troubleshooting.)

What could cause this????

check your timing dood. if you have spark and fuel, it has to be that. why did you switch injectors anyways. did you convert your car to obd1? its either gonna be spark, fuel or timing.

Yeah my buddy didn't say, but we converted to obd 1 because we put a 2nd gen b16 into his 91 crx, and he wanted to keep the obd1 injectors/system so i soldered in the obd1 injector clips into the crx engine harness and removed the resistor box and soldered those 5 wires together and used newmans conversion harness for the rest. And when my buddy says we have fuel he means pressure, because we are not 100% sure the injectors are opening.

I was thinking timing too, but the engine fired when alittle gas spilled into the cylinders, which have a compression of ~200,~125,~215,~175. Those seem strange to me. So i was thinking timing too so we have to check that.

yeah we're getting plenty of fuel. the fuel pressure causes the fuel to spray everywhere upon removing the fuel rail.

thanks for the reply

well if your car started when you put fuel in it, then that means ur injectors are clogged, or your timing isnt right. u havent said whether or not u checkd your timing. did fuel come out of the injecotors when u tried to start?
