no, loctite is a thread locker, when it dries it gts brittle and crumbles, not the best stuff for a makeshift gasket

the high temp gasket maker is what you are refering to. I always prefer gaskets over anything.

You can get it anywhere really. Just ask for high temp gasket maker. But it really shouldn't be used btw the turbo and mani.. just like oil pan, water pump, oil drain and so on.

Ya exactly, I used a copper sheet for a gasket for a long time before I got a belt sander. Now I never use gaskets on any exhaust parts forward of the cat or testpipe. I have even heard of people using a metal drink can that you can cut with scisors.

I use those RTV gasket maker for all my exhaust flanges and connections... If the surface is macjhined well, a little bead of the gasket maker seals minor imperfections.

I've used Copper RTV before. Worked.

I heard you can cut out a gasket from a pop can to. I'm sure anyone can get a hold of one of those. Even in Israel.

I never use gaskets on my manifold/turbo, wastegate/dumptube, or turbo/downpipe locations. I use copper spray on all though, and have NO leaks.
