no, loctite is a thread locker, when it dries it gts brittle and crumbles, not the best stuff for a makeshift gasket

You can get it anywhere really. Just ask for high temp gasket maker. But it really shouldn't be used btw the turbo and mani.. just like oil pan, water pump, oil drain and so on.

if the flange surface is machined well than you dont need anything,

Ya exactly, I used a copper sheet for a gasket for a long time before I got a belt sander. Now I never use gaskets on any exhaust parts forward of the cat or testpipe. I have even heard of people using a metal drink can that you can cut with scisors.
cut out some sheet metal and throw it in there...
