Default LSD and Supercharger

I have Quaife LSD for my RSX and a Comptech flywheel and Supercharger. Pretty damn bad ***. The LSD is so damn sick. The more I punch the pedal the more the tires stick to the ground. If you are thinking about getting either ot the two I would say

Let me know if you have questions.

So you got a limited slip diff for the occasions when you "punch the pedal" so it doesnt lose traction? lol...k.

So lets see some new times too!! Hit the track. Did you get it new? Can you share where you got it and price, etc...

And did you install it? how long did that take, or how many labor hrs at the shop?

I will hit the track this year. I do road courses and a lot of auto-xing. I got it so that when I hit the auto-x and road courses it grips to the ground. It does a great job of doing so.

Yes I got both new. I am not sure which you are talking about? SC or LSD?
Well SC was about 800 to install at the Acura of Brookfield dealership in WI. 8 1/2 hours of labor rate. They also installed my LSD. King Motorsports installed my boys LSD and a new Toda flywheel and they charged him $500. I also had a comptech flywheel installed.

I have a JRSC and grip is definitely an issue in 1st and 2nd. Was the figure 8 break in a major pain in the *** or what? An LSD is a foreseeable add on in short order, but I'll probably do it along with the clutch and flywheel when the time comes.

I'm envious of the numbers the CTSC seems to be putting out for the RSX-S. Too bad Comptech's not going to bother with the EP version, apparently.

I can guess, but if you have any specific times when you lose traction alot or anything...im just trying to anticipate b/c I have a 9psi LHT-IC jrsc ready to be installed and am considering getting and lsd tranny and new clutch too b/c im figuring im gonna need it...

That king motorsports rate seems pretty reasonable...they are worthy of high labor rates too, Id def be confident in their work for anything!!

Sounds like a nice setup, I wanna see 1/4 mi. times!

I will post pix in the next week or so. I am going to try and take some sunday.

I do not have a prob with 2nd gear. I do have a prob with 1st unless I punch it at 4k. I think it is because of the LSD.

Dude it is pretty sick. I just can not wait until the aftercooler and 7 Ib. pulley is released. I also have to upgrade my injectors.

When I launch at the track, i'm just spinning through 1st gear to red line, then shift to second, spin to red line, then grab in 3rd and take off......

LSD is definitely the way to go...might as well do the clutch and a nice light fly wheel while you're in there, it's a huge job. I'm waiting till my clutch burns out, about 2 years(!??) and I'll be doing those swaps. That's why the SRT-4 goes so nice, it has the traction with the power. I can only imagine the traction issues you'll have with 9lbs. I was racing a friend of mine with his stock RSX-S and he was keeping pretty close in 1st and 2nd, but in 3rd I was gone and it just keeps pulling and pulling even through 6th gear.

saw an itr tranny with quaife for 1800, and could dump mine for 800, not a bad upgrade, but thats the last thing I need is shorter gears...
