Default How to tell if nitrous bottle is empty? and other nitrous questions.

I searched, but didn't find much. I have a bottle heater that I just got from someone here on honda-tech installed, but I can not get to 400 psi. Is my bottle empty or do I just have to wait longer for the bottle to warm up? How long does it usually take to come full pressuse ( I was told 1100psi is average, is this right?).

Can I open the bottle to see if it is empty? What should I do to not get hurt/break stuff?

Does anyone have any links to what to look for when refilling nitrous. I was told that they need to get the air out of the bottle after they fill it?

Thanks

if you have the bottle out of the car and its not hooked up to anything you can just open it and it will shoot out super fast. that will tell you if its dead empty

weight.

when its completely empty weight it. when you fill it it should be 10lbs or however big your bottle is heavier.

when i used to get my bottle filled i used to stick it in the freeze for a good hr or two before bringing it to the refill station just to make it easier for the refiller and so i could squeeze in a little extra.
