Default is it ok to run stock injectors on greddy turbo kit on sohc?

is it ok to run stock injectors on greddy turbo kit on sohc? i dont plan to boost over 5 psi so was wondering if this is safe before i upgrade fuel management.

its do-able, but i would not reccomend it, you are just pushing your injectors to there limits, but dont go above 5 and you should be allright, MAKE SURE you have a nice intercooler

You NEED to compile your questions all into one thread. I'd say 6 psi is the max for the stock fuel management. BUT, why not just wait to put on ur turbo until you are ready to put it on with fuel and tuning. It will be all the sweeter. Also, the people in FI forum will probably be able to help you out a lot more then us. Also, search in the FI, it will give you a lot of the info you need for your turbo setup.

you should be running a turbo intake manifold, but yeah you should be ok if you dont go over that psi...good luck with that dude

im running on my stock injectors on 7psi for over 2,000 miles and i havent had a problem. do it happy boosting

On both my D16Y7 and D16Y8 with Greddy kits I used the stock injectors at 7psi with no problems. My old Y7 is still around town with over 40k on the kit, same injectors in it.

You will be fine, you won't come close to the max duty cycle with only 6-7psi on a sohc.

lol that is a new one...seriously wtf? what exactly is a turbo intake manifold and wtf does it have to do with injectors on 5-6 psi?
