Default Help is AEM Induction BAD??!!

Hi can some one please advise me. I have an AEM cold air and i was told just the other day that unless i get an after market computer for my Type R i run the risk of burning holes in the pistons. Is THIS TRUE or is it just BULLpoo poo???

Serious this dude reckons that the induction kit may be casuing damage to the vehicle is this TRUE?? Does anyone know?? (Integra Type R)

hahaha....im not a mechanic....but they two motors ive rebuilt that both had aem cai's and the pistons looked fine..(well, except for a cracked ringland because of a turbocharger situation).

No but probably at least 30% of the people on this board do, and I assure you that other than the risk of hydrolock AEM CAI's are safe.

you will loose some torque but gain top end hp, I love the sound of vtech with AEM
