Default Suspension technique sway bars for 88 crx si

i was wondering if they made 88 specific rear sway bars for just 88 crx si's. i have a set of st sway bars but dont seem to look like it will bolt on correctly with the control arm and struts being all different. 88 si does have a stock sway bar tho but doesnt look the same way as the st sway bars. will i have to convert to 89-91 LCA and struts? hope not

from what i hear you either have to convert the rear suspension to a DA or 90-91 CRX cause the 88 was the weird year since it was the begining of a new body style. im pretty sure though that you have to convert the suspenion to a newer model EF or a DA

The front should be the same as any 88-91 crx, it will definitely bolt up. The only thing different on the 88's is that the rear lca is a cup style(like the ITR's). It should work the same way since the way the instructions describe the install is to use their bracket/endlinks/bolts joined through the rear shock/lca. So the actual part of the sway bar kit that links to the rear lca is through the bolt that ties your shock to the lca.

you can also order the "adaptor kit" for the 89-91 units to mount up to the 88 style.
ST still has em

It takes some modification to make it fit, but it will.

so the bar mounts thru the strut mount??? does it piggy back the strut mount??

just wondering because my DX rear lcas dont have any provisions for a rear bar.
