I have a Base model lude, would SH shifter cables be compatible with it?

 

They're exactly the same.

 

sorry to make it off topic a bit, but how would you know if your cables were snapped or broken?

You wouldnt be able to get into or out of gear. Once you got into 1 3 or 5 you'd be stuck there.

Those are the exact problems i am having right now and it sucks because i am stuck in 3rd gear and i can move the shifter while i was driving.

Would you happen to know if i would have to change the shift assembly also?
