ok. ive searched forever findin exactly the answer to my question. I have a obd2 b18b1 (98 integra ls auto) engine. im putting it in my 93 civic (obd1 d15 5spd) what do i need for wiring and for changing the auto to manual trans. I know they should bolt up perfectly (engine - car - trainy) but what else do i need?

 

you need b-series flywheel, clutch, flywheel and clutch bolts, flywheel cover, starter, shift linkage, axles, rear mount (T) and front mount.

you can use your old harness and tranny top mount and slave cylinder.
when you use your old harness just re-pin the distributor plugs and get yourself a obd1 ecu, they should be fairly cheap

 

It would be easier and less of a hassle if you use the OBD2 Integra engine harness. It will be completely plug and play with your EG cabin harness and you won't have the rewire the plugs on the OBD2 accessories (distributor, injectors, alternator) on the engine like you would if you reuse the stock EG harness.

 

wow - i thought this was a direct swap. I need shift linkage and axles even if im using the same trainy from the 1.5. Or can i even use the trainy??

It is a direct swap but you need everything - motor, tranny, ecu, axles, linkage, mounts, etc.

No, you need a B series tranny.

 

ok - what cars have b series engines that are popular and cheap? like if i was to buy another junker with a std trany
