You should go with Invidia because it will be better quality since it's made by RSR. I have the Invida for my CRX, and I'm guessing they both sound the same since they are canister style exhausts. I've heard of maybe 1 or 2 stories where people blew the seams on their Skunk2 canister, but I never saw any pics, and the guy I heard it from actually heard it from somebody else.

yea the invidia is like 300-400 on ebay. alotta people tell me skunk2 is overrated but i never had any skunk2 products. oh and screw you guys my sig 0wn5
IIRC the reason Skunk2 cams used to be the shiznit when they first came out cause they were pretty inexpensive. Besides their cams they dont really make a whole lot else.

Yah, it's like JDM or something
hehehe
Seriously though if I had to argue the slant canister look, I would say that it is slightly better for flow. IIRC the Skunk2 has the can coming striaght out the back, but then the piping would have that extra 90 degree turn behind the can.

i think that invidia looks like crap, and how exactly are you running the 5zigen what did you do about it coming out the wrong side?

SKNUK2 EXHAUST SUCKS!!!!11!!
You ge the idea. I couldn't understand why so many people had bad experiences with the Skunk2. From what I've read the Skunk2 megapower is made by RSR Invidia and just rebadged and sold by Skunk2. Back when I was trying to decide between Skunk2 and Invidia, all the negative comments about Skunk2 made me go with the Invidia. At the time I wasn't a big fan of the super slanted exhaust, but I guess the look kinda grew on me.

its not made by RSR. RSR use to have Invidia (taiwanese) make their exhaust. you can see Invidia's label on RSR's old stuff. but RSR stopped doing that, and totally deny it now.
and i'm pretty sure skunk2 uses Invidia to make their exhaust too. most their stuff is from taiwan. and look at their EG applications, identical.
get whats cheaper, probably invidia.

the invidia is much too much unwanted attention.
the angle, everything about it.
the ex-mag is where its at.
whisper quiet before vtec and still gives old ladies a heart attack at WOT above 5k.
cant beat anything except the price. its a bit steep, but i love mine.

Yah, I was just kinda parroting stuff I've read on here and on the net. People refer to it sometimes as the RSR Invidia.

The invidia is a great exhaust. I ended up just modifying one from the 88-91 hatchback model to fit my crx. All it required was 2 cuts and one weld on the b-pipe/gas tank bend. I couldnt be any happier. I like the way it looks and it sounds great.

I'll try to get some sound clips of it.

i also thought about buying a universal tanabe muffler and having custom pipes made for it but i dont know how much of a hassle that would be because you'd have to bend some pipes here and there. what yall think?

go with the thermal all the way. Thats what i have on my car now, its so badass!!!! Its not a fart canon like skunk 2 is. Its a nice deep tone, very under the radar. And when you really push it, it doesnt get louder, it just gets nice and deep. Its really a great exhaust, highly recomended!
