which turbo for h22 daily driver?
Alright I searched but really couldnt find what I was looking for. I have a 95 lude vtec w/ 65k original miles. (sig) I really want to piece together a turbo kit for it but I wanted your guy's input. This car will be a daily driver and i am only hoping to run 6-8 psi(prolly lower than that daily). I was wondering what would be a good turbo, wastegate, and manifold for my car. I'd be lying if I said money isnt an issue but I'm willing to spend something extra to keep from blowing up my baby! As far as my whp goals? I do not really have any. I just want my car to create as much power as it can in stock form without risking detonation. Thanks in advance
what do you mean by is turbo the only thing you want to do??? Budget isnt the best(reason for not building the motor) but like I said I am willing to spend some money for tuning and making sure the car is running right.
well that is sort of my question also.. it seems that most h22 kits are putting down around 275 whp? This may be a realisticgoal? Like I stated in the first post, I dont want to set any outrageous goals, I just want to make as much power as possible on a stock engine. I understand this varies but I really want to stay on the conservative side.

if it's just for daily driving and all around power you can use a To4B. spools at about 3k. used to run it on my H22 and ate Evos here in the philippines so m guessing i made like 280whp. But still not enough power for me so i sold it already... M planning to get a T70 for my next turbo hehe.
SC32 or SC50 maybe?
How bout a T3/T04E 50 trim? If your only looking for a street car - 300whp is MAX esepcially on the H22 with weak ringlands..
SC61/T70 are WAY to big for what your goals appear to be.
