Default options...

im trying to figure out which direction to go with my 1992 prelude si. i am debating whether to turbo the current h23a1 that has 62k miles with the fmax kit, or to swap in a jdm h22a and tune that NA. the car is gonna be a daily driver, and i want something reliable, but is capable of low 14's high 13's in the quater. im leaning twards the h22 because i think it would be more daily driveable, but i dont know what it would take to run high 13's with an NA h22.

any comments welcome

you car has good mileage to be able to turbo it so thats good and gettin a motor and makin it NA is sick i would make my car NA cause i already have the h22 theyre two totally opposite thing just think which one u like better u can get about the same results but get bigger results for cheaper with a turbo its really preferance

Turbo or NA, either one will cost a lot... depending on how "extreme" you want to go with NA. A lot of people will argue that turbo is not reliable for daily driver, while a lot of people argue that it is. If you want a RELIABLE DAILY DRIVEN car, based on my knowledge from this site i'd go with the h22 with some bolt ons
(intake exhaust headers for starters)
Correct me if im wrong but h22 with some bolt-ons usually runs low 14's high 13's right?

read through some of these

i'd go h22+bolt ons+nitrous....your car will be reliable and when you wanna extra, you got 50 hp on tap.
