Hey guys. I'm posting on behalf of my sister. She has 00 ek. Her motor blew and she replaced the motor with a used one. The motor is running bad she says and has the check engine light on now. (I dont have a problem with check engine light racing but if it is sour then i do) anyway, she did the paperclip test thing and its the zero code. What is that exactly?

hmm..haynes book of god says this...

primary heated o2 sensor circuit low voltage...
or primary heated o2 sensor circuit high voltage...

 

either that or you don't have the jumper connected properly...does it continually turn off and then turn on or does it do it just once ?

 

jumper....i hadn't known she was using a jumper..i thought she threw the same engine she had in it...ethier way...same deal with obd1 and 2...

 

by jumper i mean service connector

 

make sure your jumping it correctly

 

Its a code 13 not 0... she did the test wrong so...?
