I bought a O2 simulator, got it all hooked up CEL comes back on in a while, ive got the D16y8 motor and the harness is as follows, white signal, green ground, black heater power, and black power, ive tried both balcks for the power source and im still getting a CEl and the LED is blinking im lost and ive searchs for this its all what for not how to solves and wtf's??

yea i already went off your thread and followed those instructions still on!!

 

ok the pic i added from someone else is labeled wrong. im sorry i didnt realize it. i fixed the proble which was the 2 black wires labeld in the pic were reversed.

ok the wiring for power and ground is correct but what color wiring is on the simulator??

mine was red-power black-ground yellow-signal

note when attached to heater wire the light on sim does not stay a constant brightness as power is given when needed and at different rating

 

ive got white signal red power and black ground, ive got white to white, black to green, and ive tried both blakcs to red and im still getting the CEL thats why im confused and wondering if mines fucked

 

did you cut the signal wire completely from harness to the sensor before testing as well as restting the ECU??

 

yup i cut it, and i completely unhooked my battery

 

then its gotta be bad thats all i can think of
