So after 230k, I figured my o2 sensor could stand to be replaced. A buddy of mine had a couple random 4 wires laying around, so I found a wiring diagram online and wired them up. I've always heard that 4 wire o2s are universal, so I figured it'd be worth a shot. Here's the diagram I used:

I've tried both the sensors, and gotten an o2 cel as soon as i start it up. I want to know if I've wired it up wrong, if these just flat out can't be used with the ecu, or if the sensors are bad (they both seem fairly new). This is in a pretty much stock 92 gsr.
The Sensors:
I pulled out a stock nippondenso 063500-8310, and tried to use a denso 12567254, which comes back as a gm part. The other one I tried to use was a toyota/denso 89465-34150
stock was:
white - signal +
green - signal -
black - heater
black - heater
both of the other two were:
blue - signal +
white - signal -
black - heater
black - heater
So I did white to blue, green to white, and blacks to blacks. Did I do something wrong?

Im getting codes 14 and 41. O2 heater malfunction, and IAC valve malfunction. Anyone? Could the black wires be bad, or do i need a different sensor?

Hmm, according to this, code 14 can be either the idle air control valve or a bad ECM.

Pulled the IACV, looks like it might be stuck open? Anyone know for sure? I suppose I could put some voltage to it and see if I hear it click...
