Anybody run stock ITR springs on Koni Sport shocks?

Got pics of how they sit on the lowest perch?
I'm growing tired of my stiff@$$ Koni Ground Control suspension, and am aiming to put my stock GS-R springs back on the Koni shocks, but I will probably run them on the lowest perch for about an inch of drop with stock ride quality. However I would like to see what OEM ITR springs look like on Koni shocks, if anybody has pics.

Huh?
OEM ITR springs on OEM perches, the car is at the OEM height regardless of shocks.

Koni Sport shocks have a choice of spring perch heights. I could go about 1" lower than stock with my stock springs, so I was wondering how it would sit on the lowest perch setting with ITR springs.
Patrick, look into H&R OE Sport springs. I run them on my koni yellows and they are perfect for daily driving (lowers 1" all around, comparable to stock ITR spec)
I just finished up installing Konis on oem ITR springs. I installed the front on the lower sport setting. I tried installing the rear on the lower of the three settings. The spring sat to low on the shock. There wasn't any tension between the lower perch and the top mount. Of course the cars sat too high in the rear. I ended up moving the the front to the stock setting. I'm not sure if I was looking at the rears correctly or not. I messaged Koni on the web site asking if the lower perches on the rear could be used on an ITR. I didn't receive any reply. Maybe I was just missing something?

While I won't bash to the point of MikestypeRR (lol@mike),
What was wrong with the springs? Too stiff? Too weak? Too tall/short?
What were the rates? Were they progressive?
Besides springrate and height, and manufacturing tolerances, springs usually work as-advertised.

[Edit, droop. Ah yeah. That sucks! My omni's haven't drooped in the last few months, rock solid so far...]

Hahahaha I just really had to quote your post before you end up deleting what you just said. Patrick is as far from a "ricer" as you can get - he is one of the most knowledgable guys on HT.
Patrick experienced sagging issues with his H&R Sports (this is almost two years ago already), and merely mentioned that they sucked (a bit of an understatement if said springs lower your car an extra inch beyond specification)...
Lets all find something someone commented on that we disagree with and bash the hell out of them
even though it is completely off topic (did he ask how your H&R's performed? is he even asking anything about H&R springs at all?)
But of course, since you "know how to drive your car" and "track your R" your opinion must far outweigh someone's personal experience.
This all coming from someone who wanted to put 12000k HID's in their Integra... Check these thread out when you've got a minute:

Hahahahahaha... sorry i'm still laughing here

Yeah, PatrickGSR94 has been on here a very long time and knows his stuff. I've learned a lot from him, for sure. (Did the RU2820 K&N filter retro-fit 3 years ago with his help.
)
Patrick, for a better ride quality, I'd look into Eibach Prokits. I had them on my 95 teg and it was a pretty good compromise.

Yeah thanks for the backup guys... but actually my H&R springs never sagged. They just happened to drop my car WAY too much for their spring rate. The drop ended up being somewhere in the 3" range, and it was that way from the time I first installed them to the time I took them off. The spring rate was not high enough to keep the suspension off the bumpstops on bad roads.
I thought that GC's with a higher spring rate would help, and while it doesn't bottom out anymore, I've just grown tired of the super harsh ride. Since I got them back in June I've only autocrossed my car twice, but yet I commute 100+ miles everyday.
The fact is that other things have become more important to me in my life, and I think I'm going to just leave my car to commuting purposes. Just take a look at my mileage in my sig. Most likely I'm just going to continue to maintain it as long as it will still run, and not spend money on anything else.
So that's why I don't want to put any other aftermarket spring on there. Stock springs, or at most ITR springs if I came across some really cheap.
And yeah I linked .RJ's Koni installation how-to in the how-to thread I made about installing Koni GC's.

heh save myself what trouble? Either way I would be swapping out springs, and I want stock ride quality. Stock springs = no money spent. ITR springs would be very little money spent. New ERS springs = $200 for a set of 4.
I'm running 380 lb/in front and 450 lb/in rear Eibach ERS springs right now.

Eeek!
Patrick knows his stuff. H&R in my opinion was poopoo. I used to sell them and personally used their products in different applications and didnt think too highly of them either.

haha... i'm sure the Race springs would have been better w/ their stiffer rates, but the 3" drop with only the Sport spring rate was nothin' nice!
