Whats the redline
No...it depends on the intake. Is it cold air or short ram? Also what brand? This stuff shouldn't matter but some intakes more noise than others it's cool as long as the noise comes from the filter not the silicone.

That has NOTHING to do with how high the engine will rev. Especially brands.

thats the cutoff fuel.. redline is 6600 or 6500 i belive... why find out a redline for a CX? gas is still too cheap or what...

I have a 98 Y7 sedan. My motor has seen several 7500 and 8000 rom downshifts. Redline for a Y7 is at 6800, but the actual point where it stops you from revving any more is the fuel cut, which is at 7200.
Sure you dont make power, but revving is fun ...especially sitting still in traffic
