Default security system and wheel theft??!

I definitely understand that if a thief wants something, they will get it no matter what. But just curious as to how easy a thief can set your car on blocks and steal wheels without setting the alarm off?? Also, has anyone used any special trips or sensors to specifically detect a wheel theft?

Yea just a sensitive alarm, maybe an alarm with a tilt function, but i know that is more for when people are gonna tow your car, i dont think a jack will make a difference. And with wheels, there isnt much u can do. Locking lugnuts will come off just as fast as regular ones, they just require more prep time. You can always try to tighten your locking lugs harder since the most common way to take them off that i know off is using lock tite as the adhesive and sticking on a regular nut so u can turn. Lock nuts are usually put on not as tight as there is a possibility of breaking the key (this is just for locks, not for the irregular sided lugs)...
