Default 190lph fuel pump. Too much for NA GSR?

Currently have a 95 jdm gsr in my 95 dx hatch with I/H/E. I plan on boring the throttle body and added an intake manifold, maybe cams. Originally I was planning on going FI and purchased the 190lph for the swap. Now I plan on staying NA. My fuel economy is kinda low. 24mpg in the city and 21mpg if I step on it alot. Would I be better off to replace the walbro 190lph with a stock gsr fuel pump?

Should be fine so long as you can regulate flow with an AFPR

I'm running the stock FPR. I would think with the bigger fuel pump I would be running a little rich. Or will the computer compensate for the extra fuel?

THe Walbro will increase fuel pressure as well as supply versus the stock pump.. Especially the Walbro 255lph HP. If you have an AFPR you can dial the fuel pressure back to your stock settings.

Not with the 255lph, at least for me! With my FPR at the lowest setting my fuel pressure is 60 psi! So I went back to the stock pump.

I wonder if I put my H22 injectors in if it will lower the fuel pressure if I go back to my 255lph!

It worked well when I was spraying, now its just too damn much!

lol, yeah those thign flow enough fuel for a 600hp blown fox body.

But yeah your prelude injectors should blead some of that pressure off. What FPR were you using that would only scale it back to 60 psi. THat is crazy. Also is the 60 psi you measure with the vac line on or off?

Can anyone suggest an inexpensive FPR. I don't want the tap on B&M one. I know I will need a gauge also.
I have a 255lph oh my sr20det, Running rich. Can't see the need for one of those on a 1.8l na engine.

theres nothing wrong with a b&m fuel pressure gauge, and hacking the stock fpr isnt hard at all. you could probably go back to a stock pump but the fpr would be a better idea because it will come in handy later on. boostfedracing.com has a nice fpr for around 100 bucks
