I'm pretty sure its not new. There was a review on it a long time ago. And i'd take the quaife LSD over it any day.

i think you should try the obx since its quality has greatly increased.

It's not only the quality, its the concept that they're getting away with copyright infringement (sp?) solely because they are overseas.

i guess your right since everything they make is a replica of something else... .....but atleast we can get pretty decent stuff for a cheaper price.....still doesnt make it right about the whole idead taking thing tho.

I agree, it is a little wrong how they are getting away with copying qauife LSD and the Skunk2 cams, but on the other side, we enthusiasts can now get these near-identical copies for half the price the original parts were.

The reviews on these OBX LSD's and cams have been great so far.

Has anyone else used this bad boy...looks pretty tempting. I've read that one of the guys has been doing some testing with one in the F/I section. Not sure what the results were however. anyway, for that price, I think I'm willing to give it a shot. So is there shop to buy these from or is it an ebay special only? Also, exactly how much extra are you looking at once it's all said and done...I'm in Canada! haha, always got extra taxes and **** laid on once it crosses borders!!

his review was deleted due to the fact that he is a quaife retailer, that there are obx advertisements on HT every now and then, which means his "review" could be tainted as he put down the obx compared to the quaife (which is obvious anyways), but the main issue he pointed out was that once you receive the obx lsd RETIGHTEN ALL OF THE ALLEN WRENCH BOLTS, the one he received was very loose and if it were to come apart, differential parts + tranny = disaster...

otherwise, his review wasnt that bad for a part that is half the price of a quaife, has held up in 700whp drag civic being beat on launch after launch, and has a lifetime warrenty, if i didnt have the m2b4 i'd have one, also still deciding on obx st 2 cams or FI, we'll see....

edit: also i think the civic ones are going for like $100 cheaper than that auction posted, like the same price as the cams, so it's prolly cheaper on other auctions...

Looks exactly like my quaife.

Just ordered a B-series OBX for a friend.

400 VS 900.... I'm sure the quaife is worth it, but this looks to be a very good alternative. Especially with a Lifetime warranty. I'll have to tell my buddy to tighten the allen bolts before he installs it.

I was looking for this same info. Seems like the civic guys have alot to say. Here is just one first hand account.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1193450

For me, seem to risky to put inside my tranny. If it goes bad it could tear up everything and saving $400 would end up costing me a $3000+ to replace the tranny, final gear and LSD. I do nto think it is worth it for me.
