Default quaife lsd

i am about to buy a quaife lsd but i am wondering if it will hold up to 600-700 hp and 26" slicks?

Also i know it has a warranty has anyone ever used the warranty and were u given a hard time about it or was it easy to get the lsd replaced?

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I have only heard of one Quaife breaking and supposedly they took care of him with no questions asked, except probrably "How in the hell did you break it?"

We are running 590whp with a 2900lb prelude and having no problems with our Quaife Diff.

At least 700whp. Most Hot-rod guys are using spools or differnetials that come with HD axle kits. We're using a prodrive unit on our HR car.

Quaife is a good unit for a basic SFWD car, but realisticly, you'd want a spool instead of a 1 or 1.5way LSD.... although, LSD is awesome when turning and in rain/snow.

we have used quaiffe's alot and i have personally seen only one break and quaiffe paid for the customers entire bill to replace it. now thats what i call customer service..

i wish i could afford a quaiffe , i have a pro-drive spool in my daily. someday maybe.

Yes the Quaife will hold that power with the size tires you are running. Just remember to always preload your launches.

I wouldn't recommend using a spool on the street at all! Think safety
