Default Speedometer stop working - HELP*****

I have a 92 Honda Civic DX Automatic.

The car shifts kinda long, which i think has something to do with the Speedometer on my gauge cluster stop working. SO pretty much when i drive i have no idea how fast i'm going, let alone the car shifts really bad, IT"S AUTOMATIC.

So I replaced the VSS, Speed sensor, and the problems still exist.

I NEED HELP!!!!

This is kind of a long shot b/c I have a 97 EX and the fuses are probably totally different but I had this same problem and it wasn't the VSS, it ended up being fuse #15 which has something to do with the VSS. Find out which fuse is for the VSS and check it.

I check the fuses and none are indicated that they are for the VSS. hmm, need to keep trying to figure this out!!!

the circuit board in the speedometer is shot....you need to find a replacement board or just get the whole speedometer assy.

people are always mislead into thinking that the vss is almost always the culprit...when it could be something else...like i've seen a couple posts that say the speedo has corrosion or something.

I'm ordering a new Speedometer to make sure it's not corrosion of something.

My vss tested good and my speedometer only works sometimes, so I ordered the speedometer which I hope is the same thing as what your talking about and not the entire cluster(fuel, tach, etc) Im not even sure what the part will look like, anyone know, and it is a elecronic speedometer so maybe it will come with the board.
