Default Getting rid of shifter slop part II

I'm trying to get rid of all the slop in my shift and have replace the base plate bushings with washers and I'm going to tackle the shifter's ball bushings and sideplate bushings part #6 and 9 (the yellow flat ones), to try and rid the slop since I can't afford the 4 bidden shifter I'm gonna get a new one of these from honda and let everyone know how it goes.

here is my first write up.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1153749

what else can wear out on these things?

so you tied the 2 cables tighter together near the shifter? does this work? I'm thinking when you shifter it from left to right the zip tie will get loose and then tight again? if you get what i mean....

There's a rubber bushing where shifter cable connects to the shifter. Replace that with a metal bushing or a needle bearing. I used a needle bearing with my 4bidden shifter. Most of the slop is gone. Just gotta find metal pieces to replace my shifter plate bushings.

That might VERY slightly reduce the front/back but unless your stock bolt was really worn or something (not likely), it shouldnt have made much of a difference at all.

Most of the "slop" comes from the square piece that goes in the bracket on the left side. The ball portion of my shifter is designed a tad larger than stock to fit tighter inside that square pressure fit piece to try and reduce slop as much as possible.

i put the zip ties where the cable connects to the shifter....so it puts pressure on the cable against the shifter and basically wont let it "play" so much and reduces most of the slop.... i love the way my shifter feels compared to my friends shifter in his DC2
