How light does my hb have to weigh in order to break into 12's with 200 whp?
I have a 93 Civic HB with a mild gsr build and as of now, my car weighs around 2340 with me in there. I was wondering with 200 whp, how much light does the car have to be in order to break into the 12's with slicks. Or a time without slicks?
i ran 12.9 in a 2500lbs 6gen hatch with 196hp and 145tq on slicks with just springs in the front.
according to this website http://www.web-cars.com/math/qtr_mile.html
under 1691 pounds, but i think they use hp to the crank..

Thats engine HP, not wheel HP.
I'd say about 2100lbs and a good driver should do it just fine.

you said 2340 w/driver and 200 whp, you are perfectly setup to break into the 12's. your power to weight ratio ought to allow you to trap at 103 mph. so with a 1.7 60' time (should be decently easy to achieve on slicks) you should be able to do a 12.9.
