how can I Improve my 60ft. times?
I have a B18 turbo
I am launching at around 7500rpms. and I am getting 1.8 60ft.,
I have an LS transmission, and I have NO traction bars, or any straps, No LSD.
What would give me the best bang for the buck in getting better 60ft.?
Thanks.

Couldn't have said it any better than that!

tractions bars didnt do **** for a couple of my friend's cars...was kindof expecting more...limiting straps and some 900 psi rear springs would be a cheap thing to try out...

Really, we put them on my buddies hatch and i stoped the wheelhop almost completely. Unfortunately he started breaking axles after that. We went from the 6 puck to an organic disk and with the trac bars and nitto DR he was making consistant 2.0-1.9 60 foots.

i was getting constant 1.81-85 60 fts, then i actually balanced the corners of the car, and also, id burn the slicks for about 30 ft out of the water box instead of just right out of the box. now i get constant 1.70-75.
im using the omnipower drag combo and launching at 7.5k rpm with mh 24.5*8.5*13 slicks. i also have a quaife, but you would not believe how beneficial a good corner balance job will help you.

yes corner balancing is making the car the same weight at every corner. it helps torque steer, and also helps put the whole width of the slick on the track assuming you have a good alignment.
to be honest with you, i only balanced the front of my car, because there is always going to be more weight on the left side of the car because of the driver and more components on that side.
you can add weight to the right side to get it perfectly balanced at all four corners, or what i did was got the front balanced and "moved" the extra weight to the rear by raising the left rear a couple more turns than the right rear, which shifted the weight to the right front, making the front equal.
i used a balance scale on all four tires to do this. it made a huge difference, a difference that was very beneficial, youd be suprised.

I pulled a 1.75 60ft on stock axles and stock diff with 22 X 8 X 13. Although I managed to get and 8.1 in the 1/8th, Needless to say at the end of the track oil started leaking from the tranny and stock diff broke. So the lesson learned, BUY A QUAIFE.
