What else besides LSD and slicks will get my h22ed coupe to stick better?

 

traction bars, upgraded springs and shocks, upgraded/new suspension bushings, upgraded motor mounts

 

what tranny and what slick combo are you running now.... and what PSI are you running your slicks at also

Slicks seem to be a must, especilly for us LSD impared folk...

Sry that I put it to u guys wrong. My swap is still sitting in my garage(prolly 2 weeks till it gets dropped in.) I am waiting on water pump and manual tensioner parts. reason y I posted this is cause I hear SO MUCH about h22ed civic that have mad wheel spin, I dont want to do lsd cause I've heard it is bad for autocrossing. but I still want to drag. I ordered bfgoodrich T/A drag radials.(not here yet) What are some good traction bars. also I got KYB GR2 shocks with Tien S-Tech springs for civic si. will these be able to handle the wieght, or will it be too low. I also got korbach frame locks that havent been put on yet. Thats about all I got for suspension. and as soon as my engine is in ill post 1/4 mile times stock and 60 foot.

 

Actually quaife lsd units are very good for auto-X! I have installed many quiafes for auto-X's around my area. They all shaved time off thier laps after the lsd was installed. No cheap lsd units like phantom slip though. Has to be a better diff. like quaife, honda, OBX, ect.

 

You can do as much as you want to make it hook better off the line, but on DR's the tires are gonna smoke up in 1/2/3 as soon as you hit full boost...

Atleast they do on my car, so you have to modulate the gas and boost and what not... Basically make less power.

LSD is your best bet especilly if you autoX...
