yes....I know im psycho...just answer the ? please LOL
okay as you all know I'm psycho...yes psycho...im running 100 shot direct port on a type R with stock pistons and rods....
well...I'm getting ready to up the NOS to 150 shot...it might end up a two stage system so I can spray either the 50 or 100 off the line then hit the 2nd stage after the slicks grip.....
Ok im just wondering what kind of pistons and rods you would say to get...
I most likely will get Eagle rods and i don't want my compression to be too low...oh yes..I also have ignition, timing retard box, 255lph fuel pump, fpr, fpr just for nos, vafc, and skunk2 racing valves
let's hear all of your thoughs
this should be interesting

hey man , you know im down with the bottle, but thats just sick . i sure it can be done , but your gonna need to totally redo that block.
im kinda weary since realtype r 's experience this weekend . . . . good luck though. let us know how it goes.

I would as a bare minimum get the Eagle Rods and some 9:1 or 9.5:1 forged pistons. I would also seriously consider sleeving the block for that 150 shot. A J&S Safeguard wouldn't be a bad idea either.
Keith man, you're going to screw up the block and need to rebuild that beast from the ground up. You were at my house and saw how happy I was with just 1 valve. You, on the other hand, will be sad. Good luck though man. I'll be there to take you around when it blows. "BURN IT TO THE GROUND"
Damn man 150? I think you really should go through the motor first with internals and a re-sleeve... make sure you use the progressive from N20 express or NOS, 150 all at once is too big of a change. You should also run a stand alone of some sort. Without a correct tune your going to blow the crap outta that motor. I would go with Hondata and run the n20 activation switch at full throttle with the progressive build to 150 using the fuel maps for the higher boost tables (a good point Zip brought up) on the Hondata for the base map and tune from there. If you dont please make sure you take pics so we can see the destruction.

hahahaha don't worry I plan on BUILDING the whole motor just for nitrous.....as well as getting bigger injectors and more than likely an AEM fmu system...bc i hear it detects knocking and retards timing
that could be useful....as for the 150 shot..it won't be progressive but it will be in stages...first ill come out of the hole with the 50 and then when I get traction break out the 100

get the NOS programmable unit, it will help tune the ignition timing which is super critical, I know of tock stangs that run 250 shot out of the bucket and havent broken for 2 years, not so sure how yr motor will hold up, I would get a Nitrous piston for your application not just a compression selection, you will want a piston with ringlands moved from normal location, also ground out your knock sensor so it does not affect the timing retard your aftermarket ignition will play with. dont go to cold on the plugs either just one stage max for tuning, if you kill a plug atleast it i not your motor.
Eagle in many cases here has been proven to be STRONGER than Crowers...
