Default Golden Eagle Intake Manifold - Please answer....

Anyone have one they can look at for me?

I have mine mounted on my prelude.

The IACV mounts on the back, upside down from how it mounts on the stock manifold. I am concerned about how this valve can possibly work like its designed to. There are 2 air ports. one should open into the body of the manifold and the other normally gets routed to before the throttle plate on the throttle body in order to allow bypassed air into the intake.

I clearly remember that there was no air tunnel coming to the mounting flange for the throttle body so how can this function?

thanks

I have never seen a GE manifold..but it may have a tube inside that vents out the back for by-pass air..I have seen some manifolds like this and you just use a little air filter on the tube that hangs out..

theres a vac line right under the IACV port. thats where it gets the fresh air from. leave it open.

so,
needless to say, me iacv works fine now.

however, i am still plagued by a stalling idle when i come to a stop. i took out the lightweight flywheel thinking this was the problem. I've run into this with other turbo'd and modified cars but i have yet to figure out how to resolve this completely. fuel and timing changes dont seem to do it.

any ideas on this one? seems to be a common problem encountered by others as well.

thanks
