1st is where 3rd should be 2nd is where 4th should be and so on but no reverse. I thought it was my linkage. I used my friends and the same thing happend any on know the problem ?

go over your shift linkage and make sure it's all snug and bushings are good. it sounds like the selector fork in the trans. may be malfunctioning?

i had the same problem. my tranny was going out it later gave way about 3 months in and i was only able to get into 1st, 3rd and reverse by then. when i pulled the tranny down there was chunks of metal coming out of it. and that was how i got it too. never grinded it never forced it in gear. it just slowly got worse and worse
